Vernon Couch      Guitar/Vocals

Born and raised in Leslie Co. KY. Vernon has

been playing for 25 years in various bluegrass

bands. When in 2000 he help form the Ramblin Grass. Vernon also writes some great songs ..  His influences include Flatt&Scrugg, Larry Sparks and J.D.Crowe.

Debra Sutton           Bass Guitar/tenor vocals

Debra is the daughter of Vernon and wife of

banjo player Scott. She has been playing

since the age of thirteen also in various bands. Her influences are AKUS and the more

recent Bluehighway, And now she is the host of the Hillbilly Hayride on WMMT 88.7 every thursday morning from 10-12.30

Also part of the radio staff there as a bluegrass rep., and in charge of the radio programming....

Scott Sutton                Banjo/Vocals

Scott and Debra live in Hindman,KY. Scott has

been playing since the age of nine. He has also played in various local bands throughout

the area. His influences include Keith Whitley,The Country Gentlemen and J.D.Crowe

Bill Foster Guitar

Bill is the youngest member of the band.He has only been playing for a few years. His interest in learning is

helping him become better all the time. Vernons nephew at the age of 16 has plenty of time to progress.

His influences are Jimmy Martin and Tony Rice........

RAMBLINGRASS' youngest member stars in radio broadcasting!!

This is Skyanna Sutton. She almost 6 years old. She is a very big bluegrass and music fan. Her favorite artis is Rhonda Vivcent and is also featured on Rhondas' web site along with her lovley mother Lil Deby. She has also been helping do some radio broadcasting work at WMMT in Whitesburg,Ky. She does a bunch of psa's (public service announcments) and spots for some of the bluegrass DJ's. We are so proud of Sky, some of her hoobies includes, She is on the small pum-pum team, Little League, instuments. and pagent competitions.She is in Kindergraden and at the top of her class on spelling test . Skyanna is a vert busy 6 year old , but he loves evrything she does . So look for Sky on stage with Ramblingrass singing a tune or playing her new madoline.
